Coach sinks three after errant pass to delight of players

One of the difficulties of coaching is that players sometimes won’t buy into a coach’s methods or tactics because of their lack of credentials as a player.

Well, that won’t be a problem for this college coach after a hilarious moment during one of his team’s games.

With the scores locked up at 34-34 in Penn College’s clash with Lancaster Bible College, guard Marquis Delgado mistakenly thought his coach Ryan Callahan was a player.

Comically, Delgado finds his coach with the pass, and Callahan, adding to the hilarity of it all, catches and knocks down the jump shot from off the court.

“Dalgado passes it to head coach Ryan Callahan who knocks down the three, got to give it to him, got to give it to him, still a shooter,” the commentator exclaims.

While Callahan’s triple obviously didn’t count, the Wildcats could have done with their coach’s scoring after slumping to a 28-point loss to the Chargers.
