Brother of NBA star dunks in wrong basket

The brother of Miami Heat guard Gerald Green has claimed his own slice of fame - or infamy - after inexplicably dunking in the opposition’s basket.

Garlon Green plays for Tigers Tübingen, or Walter Tigers, in Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga.

During a match against Löwen Braunschweig over the weekend he produced one of the sport's rarest sights by butchering an attempted rebound.

Green had taken a running leap at the basket and while he was able to get his hands to the ball first, he somehow produced a tip-dunk instead of claiming possession.

You could even have been forgiven for praising him for his execution had it not been at the wrong end of the court.

And to make matters worse, the two pointer put his side down by four points with less than a second remaining in the match, extinguishing any hope they had of a miracle victory.
