Basketball team nails 'touchdown three pointer'

Information, techniques and tactics have never been shared between different sports more than right now.

But a social basketball team in America has taken cross-code pollination to a new level to pull off an amazing three-point shot.

From there, the conventional basketball playbook is thrown out the window with one player crouching and snapping the ball to a teammate like a centre in American football.

The would-be quarterback dribbles the ball a couple of times before throwing it into the net off the backboard for a touchdown. Or should that be three points.

Regardless of what it was, it was spectacular.
