Basketball star passes to open teammate...on the bench

Let’s play a game of spot the problem with the pass.

During a college basketball match, Old Dominion Monarchs forward Brandan Stith claimed a rebound and passed the ball to open teammate, Jordan Baker. So what was the problem?

Well, Baker was actually on the bench at the time, prompting a ribbing for the benched guard and giggles all over the court as the referee blows his whistle to stop the game.

With his viral fame secure, Stith took to Twitter to blame Baker for his brain fade pass.

While Baker was hardly sympathetic at Stith’s plight.

Still, the pass was the only blight on an otherwise strong showing from Stith, who had 21 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks as the Monarchs beat Texas-San Antonio, 78-56.
