Aussie prodigy hits amazing basketball shot

Rising Australian basketball star Ben Simmons has shown off his undoubted potential by hitting an amazing one-handed, behind the back shot from the half-court line.

The 19-year-old Simmons stunned his Louisiana State University teammates when he lined up the near-impossible shot at training.

Standing nearly directly in front of the hoop but facing the wrong way, Simmons launches the ball with his right hand over the back of his head.

And in a testament to his phenomenal ability, the ball only ever had one destination with one teammate crying out: "It's good".

America's best high school player in his senior year, Simmons is tipped to play just one year of college basketball before electing for next year's NBA Draft where he is projected to go as the No.1 pick.
