Tender moment as baseball player 'kisses' fan

Baseball fans wait so long for the chance to snare a memento at the ball park that many start to believe they need a kiss of good luck.

So imagine one punter's surprise when he copped a smack of the lips from one his favourite players after a hauling in a foul ball during a recent Major League Baseball match.

The fan thought he'd finally found the right spot in the stands when Phillies third baseman Cody Asche sent the ball down left field against the Atlanta Braves.

But reaching over the railings to snare the catch, he got the shock of a lifetime when Braves outfielder Chase d'Arnaud crashed into him and looked to give him a kiss on the cheek.
