Australian surfer captures extraordinary five barrels on a single wave

A self-proclaimed ‘Aussie surfing bum’ may have captured the sport's greatest footage after carving through five barrels on a single wave.

Andrew Walsh, who now lives in Hawaii, has entered the video in a competition being run by GoPro that encourages entrants to capture the 'single best clip from anywhere on Planet Earth'.Walsh's footage will definitely be hard to beat.It shows the veteran surfer in action at Indonesia's famed Desert Point.The surfing hotspot is renowned for providing some of the world's longest left-hand breaks and Walsh caught a ride for the ages.The video shows him navigating his way through barrel after barrel, whilst still having the presence of mind to film himself from different angles.The result is a rare point of view that is simply breathtaking.
