Australian baseball team still undefeated

Pitcher Tom Bailey has starred on debut as Australia's baseball team remained undefeated with an 8-4 win over Curacao in the Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament in the Netherlands.
Perth Heat pitcher Bailey retired 16 of the last 17 batters he faced.
"I think we've found something there. This kid can pitch," said Australian team manager Jon Deeble.

"He didn't give up a hit through his last five innings and he's really smart on the mound".
Mitch Nilsson and Aaron Sayers both claimed their first hit and RBI in an international competition.
World No.13 Australia earlier beat No.3 Taiwan 9-5 and No.1 Japan 4-3.
They face hosts The Netherlands on Wednesday night, with playoffs getting underway on Thursday.
