Aussie Whitlock's dart at World title over

Australia's Simon Whitlock has crashed out of the PDC World Darts Championship in England following a shock defeat to Ryan Joyce.
The tournament's eighth seed became the latest big name to be knocked out of title contention after an emphatic 3-0 loss to Englishman Joyce in the second round at Alexandra Palace.
Joyce is making his world championships debut.

Whitlock, a finalist in 2010, joins the highly-rated Raymond van Barneveld and Peter Wright as unexpected early round casualties.
