'Bit weird to post': Australian sprinter Torrie Lewis claims gold medal 18 months after race
Australia's Torrie Lewis has claimed a gold medal 18 months after the race.
The young gun sprinter crossed the line second in the 200m world U20 championships behind Adaejah Hodge, who has since tested positive to banned substances.
Hodge has been suspended for two years and a number of her results overturned.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday morning, Lewis revealed she was now a gold medallist as the first "clean runner" over the finish line in the race.
"Maybe a bit weird to post 1.5 years later but today I got the news that I was the first clean runner across the line in the 200m U20 championships in 2024," she said.
"So after the DQ of the runner who tested positive, I can happily say I am the 2024 U20 200m world champ."
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the country's brightest young athletes, winning national titles over the 100m and 200m distances.

Lewis wasn't the only Aussie to benefit from the situation, with Jess Milat going from fourth place to a bronze medal.
At the time of the race, Milat was clearly happy with her performance.
"Fourth in the world! So grateful to everyone that got me here," she said via Instagram.
