Triple gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce upstages fellow parents in brutal race at son's school sports day

Jamaican sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce meant business at her son Zyon's school sports day, showing up the other parents in a friendly 100-metre dash.
The eight-time Olympic medallist did not take prisoners, leaving fellow parents in her wake as she cruised to victory — and seemingly points for her son's blue "house".
Footage of the race shared by Fraser-Pryce on Instagram showed the 38-year-old burning up the middle lane in a blue t-shirt with the words "Zyon 1" on the back, to finish seconds ahead of her nearest competitor.

"They haven't banned me yet so I'm at the line," Fraser-Pryce wrote in the caption of her Instagram post alongside a laughing face and rocketship emoji.
The 38-year-old similarly blitzed the field in the same event in 2023.
Fraser-Pryce was present at the school sports day to support her seven-year-old son.
Proving that the Pryce's are a family of winners, Zyon stood atop the podium in his two races while Fraser-Pryce's husband Jason also took part in the tug of war competition.
Fraser-Pryce is a three-time Olympic gold medallist after she claimed back-to-back 100m titles at Beijing 2008 and London 2012. She also won gold with Jamaica in the women's 4x100m relay at Tokyo 2020.
In August 2021, Fraser-Pryce clocked the third fastest 100m of all time by a female sprinter with a 10.6-second effort at the Diamond League meet in Lausanne.

Fraser-Pryce withdrew from the 100m event at Paris 2024 after picking up an injury during her final warm-up.
But in bizarre scenes, Fraser-Pryce was absent for the start of her semi final after footage showed her being denied entry into the warm-up track and instructed to enter via a different gate.
Last week, Fraser-Pryce confirmed that she will return to the track in 2025.
