I'm going to put Jeff Horn in an ambulance: Anthony Mundine

Australian boxing legend Anthony Mundine has assured he’ll put Jeff Horn in an ambulance when they meet for their highly anticipated November fight.

It never takes much to get Mundine started, and true to form the ‘The Man’ was up to his pre-fight showmanship as he unleashed a flurry of barbs aimed at his next opponent.

“This boy is going to get hurt, you better have the paramedics there, you better have the ambulance at ring side because I’m telling you, it might end early,” Mundine told 7News.Mundine told 7News.

“I’m going to hit him with that many lefts, he’ll be begging for a right.

Mundine made his professional debut when Horn was still in primary school, but for the 43-year-old, age is just a number.

“I’m feeling the best I’ve ever felt,” Mundine assured.

“George Foreman came back and won the title at 45.

““I’m happy that I’m going to make him a millionaire.”

However, the numbers are hard to ignore.

Horn posts a professional career of 18-1 while Mundine has lost three of his last five bouts to take his record to 56-8, and is coming off a chronic bad hip.

The fight is nearing an official announcement with both parties agreeing to the terms of the November bout, but Horn just hopes the pair can put on a great show in Queensland.

“To replicate what we did at Suncorp stadium against many Pacquiao, that wold be brilliant,” Horn explained.

The fight is expected to garner national attention as Australia turns it’s eye on Brisbane to see who will emerge victorious.

But for Mundine, it’s no question.

“When I beat him, not if, when,” Choc assured.
