Ebony Marinoff caps stellar season with players association MVP, after winning league best and fairest

There's not much left for Adelaide Crows midfielder Ebony Marinoff to achieve at the highest level.
Adding to her maiden league best and fairest victory on Monday night, Marinoff capped an incredible year, winning the AFLW Players' Association most valuable player on Tuesday.
She defeated North Melbourne's Jas Garner, who was the 2020 and 2023 winner.

It was a career-best season for the 27-year-old, who averaged an astounding 30.5 disposals, 16.5 contested possessions and 26.7 pressure acts.
It comes after being named the All-Australian vice-captain.

Marinoff is a three-time premiership player, a foundation AFLW player and holds the record for most games at the highest level (93).
She is now one of three players across Adelaide to have won a players MVP, alongside fellow AFLW stalwart Erin Phillips and AFL champion Andrew McLeod.
The midfield bull is a seven-time All-Australian, the 2017 Rising Star winner and the 2024 AFLW Coaches Association Player of the Year.

Teammate Chelsea Randall was crowned the AFLW's most courageous for the sixth time in nine seasons.
She won the same award in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, defeating Melbourne's Eliza McNamara on the night.
Port Adelaide's Shineah Goody was crowned best first year player, after her teammate Matilda Scholz won the rising star on Monday night.
