A GWS Giants AFLW player has tested positive to COVID-19, causing four players to self-isolate from the rest of the playing group.

The Giants today announced that a fully vaccinated player yesterday underwent a rapid antigen test, which returned a positive result. A PCR test was taken immediately after confirming the positive case.

Three other GWS AFLW players returned negative results but are now in self-isolation as a result of being deemed close contacts.
