West Coast Eagles stars get stuck in lift before St Kilda clash

The West Coast Eagles didn't exactly have the best lead-up to their AFL game against St Kilda.

A handful of their top players found themselves stuck in a lift at the team hotel in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon, before they were scheduled to play the Saints at Marvel Stadium in the evening.

Jack Darling was among the group of Eagles stars including Liam Ryan, Andrew Gaff, Elliot Yeo and Oscar Allento stuck in the lift.

Many of them shared images and video of their ordeal on social media.

The players looked cramped in the close quarters, but did what they could to pass the time, including playing cards, and playing music.
