Key moment: The Dogs desperately needed the first goal of the final term to calm their nerves and Marcus Bontempelli stepped up. The young star picked Luke Hodge's pocket to steal the ball and set up Tory Dickson who duly kicked an important goal.

Tribunal: Billy Hartung was adjudged to have applied a sling tackle on Liam Picken. Plenty of players will be lighter in the pocket after a heated melee at halftime.
