Hawks star proves a frisbee hawkeye

Hawthorn swingman Ryan Shoenmakers has shown he can be a dead eye kicking between the sticks, but it seems throwing a frisbee could just be his greatest skill.

Mucking around with teammates during a pre-season camp in Queensland, the 25-year-old proved a true hawkeye with the disc after nailing a super long range shot into a garbage bin.

With his Hawks teammates lined up behind the bin, Shoenmakers took aim from a grandstand over 20m away and gave it just the right flight to hit the mark, much to the joy of his fellow Hawks.

But unfortunately it wasn't all smooth sailing for the 195cm tall defender/forward who tried to high-five teammate Ben Stratton to celebrate hits shot, only to be snubbed by the 26-year-old.

Oh well, looks like you can't please everyone.
