Former Fremantle Dockers forward Shane Yarran has been found dead at his Seville Grove home.

Police discovered the deceased 28-year-old at his home address this afternoon.

Yarran, who is the cousin of former Carlton star Chris Yarran, was drafted by the Dockers following a dominant WAFL season which saw him boot 54 goals in 19 games for Subiaco.

Yarran made his AFL debut back in 2016 but played just six games for the Dockers before retiring due to a string of off-field incidents.

According to a report from The West Australian, Police are not treating Yarran’s death as suspicious at this time.

Despite his brief AFL career, Yarran had a prolific WAFL career, winning two WAFL premierships with Subiaco in his first two seasons, and winning a third with Peel Thunder in 2016.
