Rowe set to end AFL career on 99 games

Carlton have ended Sam Rowe's AFL career on 99 games among four delistings.

The Blues also cut Jed Lamb, Sam Kerridge and Nick Graham, although they have invited Lamb to pre-season training and could keep him on their list.

Rowe recovered from testicular cancer in 2012 to make his AFL debut with the Blues the following year.

The 30-year-old previously was rookie listed at Sydney and played four seasons for SANFL side Norwood.

Lamb has played 66 games for Carlton and GWS, while Sam Kerridge (69 games) made his senior debut at Adelaide.

Graham also falls short of his 50-game milestone, with 48 games for the Blues.

New Blues football boss Brad Lloyd said Rowe's resilience had made an impact on his teammates.

"Rowe has been a wonderful player and clubman since he arrived at the club and has overcome his fair share of adversity in that time," Lloyd said.
