PREVIEW OF THURSDAY'S AFL MATCH:

Head to head: Geelong 20 Port Adelaide 9 Drawn 1

Last clash: Round 5, 2016: Geelong 16.11 (107) bt Port Adelaide 8.11 (59) at Adelaide Oval

Tab Sportsbet: Geelong $1.55 Port Adelaide $2.45

William Hill: Geelong $1.62 Port Adelaide $2.30

It's tough to read this one. The Cats start favourites because of the home-ground advantage - Port last won in Geelong a decade ago. The two teams are coming off first-rate wins, Geelong against the Western Bulldogs and Port's Shanghai demolition of Gold Coast. But the Cats and Power have been inconsistent this season and the jury is out - they are definitely two teams who could finish outside the top eight.

Key: The week off would have been particularly helpful for Port star Robbie Gray, who continued to look proppy in Shanghai despite his two goals. Chad Wingard's calf injury means Gray will spend more time in the midfield.

Tip: Cats by 20 points
