Port stars combine for four-way alley-oop

Perhaps inspired by the NBA's annual slam dunk contest, four Port Adelaide players have combined for a stunning alley-oop of their own.

Video of their trick shot has been uploaded to the club's website and shows Robbie Young kick-off the play with a through-the-legs lay-up that bounces off the backboard and into the hands of Aidyn Johnson.

Johnson does his part with a neat behind-the-back pass to Karl Amon who then positions the ball perfectly above the basket for Chad Wingard.

And whilst a conventional dunk would have been more than enough to cap the play, Wingard instead opts to add some flare of his own by dunking the ball, backwards.

It doesn't quite reach the dizzy heights of the NBA's slam dunk contest (below), but for a group of guys who are more adept with an oval ball, it still deserves praise.
