'Unstoppable' star sparks 'purple avalanche' to famous win over Hawthorn
Fremantle has stormed from behind to defeat Hawthorn at Optus Stadium, scoring the last 34 points of the match to overcome a 19-point last quarter deficit.
The win was sparked by ruckman Luke Jackson, who found nine disposals, set up goals and laid an incredible diving smother all in the final term.
Freo had all the play in the fourth quarter, overrunning the Hawks in the 12.16. (88) to 11.7. (73) win.

Jackson's performance wowed commentators, with Fox Footy's Matt Hill describing him as "unstoppable" in the last quarter.
North Melbourne champion David King was equally glowing in his praise.
"He just put on a quarter that would put a shudder through the competition," King said.
Jackson finished with 22 disposals, 10 tackles, 22 hit-outs and seven clearances for the game.
Hawthorn's firepower proved troublesome for the Dockers early, with Jack Gunston and Nick Watson combining for eight first-half goals. The pair were well clamped from there however, with Gunston adding one more in the final term and Watson well held.
The Hawks lost star key defender Tom Barrass to a hamstring injury in the first half, and despite their backline holding up valiantly without him, the "purple avalanche", as Hill described it, eventually broke through.
The Dockers had 15 of the first 17 inside 50s of the final term and ultimately four goals in just over five minutes late in the final term decided the game.
Michael Frederick kicked three for the game, including two in the final moments, while Caleb Serong found 28 touches and won eight clearances.
For the Hawks, Karl Amon won 31 disposals and took seven marks, while Jarman Impey starred across half back with 22 touches and nine marks.
It was a huge four points to claim, with both teams firmly in top four contention. Freo now leapfrogs Hawthorn and moves to second on the ladder behind Sydney.
The Hawks take on Melbourne at the MCG in round 10 as they look to bounce back, while the Dockers also travel to Victoria to face Essendon.
