Collingwood midfielder Nick Daicos is on a modified skills program due to an injury setback.

The 2023 premiership star is managing what the club says is mild plantar fasciitis.

He was forced to just work on the stationary training bike on Friday, away from the main group.

Daicos missed a gruelling session for the Pies on Friday, with fears the start of his season may be impacted by the ongoing foot concerns.

The Pies missed the finals in 2024, after winning the flag the year prior.

A plethora of injuries during last year's campaign kept them away from the top eight.

There are further concerns the 22-year-old will miss Collingwood's pre season matchest, including their clash against Richmond on February 26.

Their 2025 campaign proper begins on March 9 when the face GWS in Opening Round.
