'The rest will take care of itself': Carlton star Tom De Koning remains coy on contract talks
Carlton ruckman Tom De Koning has remained coy on his future in the navy blue, as his contract comes to an end in 2025.
The 25-year-old has become a crucial cog in Carlton's side over the past two years, but has yet to enter contract talks.
The Blues will be desperate to keep the young star, who was rushed back into their elimination final side after suffering a collapsed lung earlier in the season.

De Koning declared contract discussions will be left to the higher ups, as he turns his attention to achieving goals set by coach Michael Voss in 2025.
"That will be between my manager and the club," he said on Wednesday.

"My main focus is just focus on the role for the team and listening what Vossy and the coaches have to say for me.
"Focussing on that, the rest will take care of itself when it happens."
Similar to his contract, the youngster also prefered to keep a lid on the Blues premiership dreams, which have fallen short over the past two years.
"If you don't think that (you're in the premiership window), then what are you thinking?," he said.

"We're focussed on the present at the moment. We're focussed on our pre season and refining a few things in our game plan."
The Blues bundled out of the 2024 finals in heartbreaking fashion, being held scoreless almost until halftime of their elimination final against Brisbane.
In 2023, they reached a preliminary final, but also lost to the Lions, by 16 points.
