'Embarrassed yourself': Kane Cornes labels Crow Josh Rachele as 'laughing stock' after goal celebration

Kane Cornes has labelled Adelaide's Josh Rachele as the "laughing stock of the competition", after a joke regarding Port Adelaide fans went south during Saturday night's Showdown at Adelaide Oval.
The Crows were handed a 22-point loss at the hands of the Power, with Rachele collecting just 10 disposals and kicking a goal in the loss.
That goal did bring with it controversy, as Rachele decided to pull out a pretty audacious celebration to attempt to silence the Port Adelaide faithful.

Rachele ran straight to the Power fans and gestured towards his teeth, referring to a controversial take he had made in the days leading up to the match.
"I did mention before that the Port supporters don't have many teeth," Rachele said on FiveAA radio earlier in the week.

"I shouldn't have said that … I know (it's a Port Adelaide home game)."
However, the lively forward wasn't too worried if he copped backlash, which he most certainly did on the night.
"Nah [I'm not concerned if they boo me]. I love it."
However, the act has floored Cornes, who has declared it as an embarrassment to Rachele.

"When you set the with those comments, when you celebrate in the face of the opposition ... you are now the laughing stock of the competition," he said on Nine's Sunday Footy Show.
"You've embarrassed yourself and you're a laughing stock.
"Port Adelaide are laughing at him right now."
Meantime, Cornes also took issue with Rachele's lack of "physicality" in the loss, hinting that he doesn't believe his game is at the level it should be, for him to act the way he does.

"You like it ... if you can back it up. You don't like it if you do that and then you have a real critical moment in The Showdown, which is built on physicality, and you shirk the issue," he said.
"He's got a real issue with his game, where he struggles to accept physical contact."
The Power's win keeps them in second on the ladder, while the Crows still sit in 15th.
