'Very saddening': Richmond star Shai Bolton's emotional plea after theft of premiership medals
Richmond star Shai Bolton has sent out a plea for help after being left devastated by the theft of his prized premiership medals from 2019 and 2020.
Bolton's home was broken into in December while the All-Australian star was away in Western Australia.
"It is very saddening to have items as cherished as my premiership medals taken this way," he said in a Tigers statement on Wednesday night.

"If anyone has any information about where they could be or that could help towards them being returned, it would mean a lot to me and my family."

Bolton kicked a goal and had 11 disposals in the Tigers' 2019 grand final win over the GWS Giants, before notching 16 disposals in a win in the 2020 decider over Geelong.
The 24-year-old is not the first AFL star to have his premiership medals stolen in recent years, after Bulldogs defender Easton Wood suffered the same fate in 2020.
Wood described the theft as "really heartbreaking" after having his premiership medal from the Bulldogs' groundbreaking 2016 triumph taken from his home while he was away.
He was the club's first premiership captain in 52 years after leading the Bulldogs to an unlikely grand final win over the Sydney Swans.
