Kennedy carted off after sling tackle
WWOS staff
Greater Western Sydney's Adam Kennedy was carted off the field after being knocked unconscious in a sling tackle.
Medical staff gathered around the young star after the vicious tackle by West Coast's Simon Tunbridge early in the final quarter.
Tunbridge flung Kennedy to the ground where the Giant's head crashed into the turf, knocking him out immediately.

Players immediately flocked to the downed player and signaled to the sidelines for help.
With the AFL trying to do their best to outlaw the sling tackle and the severity of the apparent injury to Kennedy, it's likely Tunbridge will face a few weeks on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, it's yet to be seen how the tackle will affect Kennedy and if it will keep him of GWS' line-up next week.
