Ben King 'pretty happy' at Suns, as manager Robbie D'Orazio opens up on contract talks
Ben King's manager, Robbie D'Orazio, has given an update on the star forward's future, saying a new deal could be struck within a matter of weeks.
King will miss the entire 2022 season after he tore his ACL during training and finds himself out of contract with the Gold Coast Suns at the end of the year.
With the 21-year-old's twin brother Max at St Kilda, speculation of a homecoming to Melbourne continues to hang over King's future.

But, D'Orazio has given the strongest indication yet that King will re-sign to remain at the Suns.
"There's an offer from Gold Coast," he said on SEN's The Captain's Run.
"I caught up with Ben during the week and he had surgery about five days ago in Melbourne, we'll sit down in the next few weeks and try and get a deal down or at least present the opportunities that lay in front of him.

"He's a really loyal person and having discussions with him, for mine, I think he's pretty happy where he sits at the moment.
"Hopefully he recovers well, Gold Coast have been fantastic for him so we'll sit in front of him over the next week or so and see where it lands."
King played all 22 games for the Suns last season, leading the club in attack with 47 goals.
