Greater Western Sydney coach Leon Cameron wants answers after his match notes were broadcast on television during Saturday night's AFL loss to Adelaide.

Host broadcaster Fox Footy televised a snippet of Cameron's notes while he was in the coach's box during the 22-point defeat at Adelaide Oval.

Asked if he was comfortable with the broadcaster's actions, Cameron replied: "Not really."

The Giants coach said he would seek an explanation.

"I understand that there is an interest in looking at the coach being a lunatic at times, which we all are - I shouldn't say that about the other 17 (coaches) but sometimes I am," he said.

"But there's no doubt we'll have a chat and fix it up.

"You have just got to be careful because it is our space ... I was a little bit (surprised) but within 30 seconds I had moved on."

Cameron stressed the Giants would remain open to the media.

"Fox have been fantastic, Seven have been fantastic - they are great broadcasters of the game," he said.

"Coaches and the clubs give great access to their clubs to actually show the supporters what actually happens at a footy club.

"We will continue to do that. We'll be very very open with the media but whether they just went a little too far, we'll work that out in the next 24, 48 hours."
