'Man on a mission': Geelong coach Chris Scott issues Danger warning to Tigers
Geelong coach Chris Scott says Patrick Dangerfield is a "man on a mission" as he looks to taste premiership glory for the first time in his career when the Cats take on the Tigers tonight at the Gabba.
Joining Geelong in 2016, Dangerfield on three occasions had fallen one game short of a grand final appearance with the Cats after bowing in the preliminary final in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Now that the 30-year-old has overcome his finals hoodoo, Scott says Dangerfield couldn't be any more focused as the Cats look to add another premiership cup to their decorated trophy cabinet.
The Geelong coach said the 2016 Brownlow Medallist is past winning "individual accolades" with the only thing on his mind being a premiership with the club.

"We've spoken over the journey about this [grand final] being our ultimate aim and I think it's pretty clear this is what Patty has been striving for his whole career," Scott told The Footy Show.
"He's well and truly moved past the individual accolades.
"He's a man on a mission, there's no doubt about that.
"One way of looking at it is, he should avoid the obvious and try to pretend it's not happening but that would be a bit naive.
"He knows what's in front of him and he won't die wondering, that's for sure."
But for Scott, a premiership in his eyes would put to bed 10 years of hard work and list management with the club.
Scott, who won a premiership in his first year with Geelong after taking over from Mark Thompson in 2011, revealed the biggest challenge of his coaching career was to stay competitive and field a team that could compete in the years to come.

"What I will reflect on, especially if we are good enough tomorrow, is just how far we've come in the past 10 years," he said.
"We've been good enough to be towards the top of the ladder most of the time through that period.
"But it really has been a complete list rebuild and rejuvenation.
"It was always the biggest challenge when I came to Geelong – to work with people and find a way to be in contention, but really to give us a chance somewhere in the future to compete on the last day of the year."
