Cyril Rioli produces embarrassing miss

AFL fans are used to being amazed by the feats of Cyril Rioli. But it was for all the wrong reasons in the pre-season clash against the Cats after he produced a horror miss.

In the third quarter on Friday night, the livewire Hawk got behind Geelong's defence and simply had to dribble the ball through for a major from the top of the goal square.

Inexplicably, it all went wrong with Rioli's kick sliding off his boot for a behind.

A grinning Rioli managed to see the funny side, with the Hawks prevailing with a goal after the siren from Kade Stewart securing the 0.15.8 (98) to 1.13.7 (94) win.
