Collingwood big-man Mason Cox has showed he has an even bigger heart, reaching out to a sick young Magpies fan battling in hospital.
Twitter user Greg Camilleri posted a photo of Connor who is recovering in hospital, in the hope the Magpies would give the young fan a shout-out to “lift his spirits”.

Connor insisted the club didn’t have time to “worry about him as they have to get Mason Cox bak fit for this week.”
That pulled at the heart strings of the big-man and galvanised him into action.
“Too busy to give back to supporters!? No such thing!” Cox tweeted.
“Are ya'll in Melbourne? And what's on tomorrow at 5pm? I'll come stop in and say hi mate.”
