Clarkson confirms new AFL deal with Hawks

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson has officially re-signed with the AFL premiers until 2019.
Club chief executive Stuart Fox said before Friday night's clash with Adelaide that the four-time premiership coach had put pen to paper earlier in the day.

It ends speculation from earlier this week that other clubs might try to poach the league's best current coach because the new contract was taking so long to be sealed.
