Casboult to walk AFL tribunal tightrope

Carlton forward Levi Casboult's will walk a tribunal tightrope for the remainder of the season after he accepted the AFL's $1500 fine for rough conduct.

Casboult, who was charged for his work on St Kilda defender Shane Savage, has now been hit with $2500 in fines in the space of a fortnight, after he accepted a $1,000 hit last week for the same charge on Brisbane's Mitch Robinson.

The back-to-back charges mean even a low-level incident will result in an automatic one-match suspension.

Meanwhile Fremantle's Zac Clarke, North Melbourne's Scott Thompson and Adelaide's Taylor Walker all accepted $1000 fines for their round 12 misdemeanours.

Both Clarke and Thompson accepted striking charges, while Walker copped his fine for careless conduct with low impact.

Meanwhile Melbourne's Bernie Vince has escaped sanctioning for his final-quarter high shot on Ben Sinclair in the Demons' 46-point win over Collingwood, with the match review panel determining their was insufficient forceful contact.
