Senior Carlton player could have contract torn up over anti-vax stance
Carlton has remained tight-lipped over the future of a senior player who's yet to receive the Carlton vaccination.
Several reports claim the Blues were aware of the player's hesitation to receive the vaccine ahead of the Victorian government's deadline, which requires all authorised workers in the state to have received a second dose by November 26.

The AFL has mandated that all of its players receive the vaccine or risk having their contract torn up, or be placed on an inactive list on a smaller salary.
The club hasn't revealed the identity of the player but it's understood the player is among the most senior in the team.

If the player doesn't receive the vaccine he won't be able to train with the team when they reassemble for preseason training in late November - early December.
All Victorian-based players were required to have received their first dose by October 22.
At the deadline for getting the first dose, all of Victoria's clubs, except two, had confirmed all players had received at least one dose or were booked to get one.
It comes after Adelaide AFLW player Deni Varnhagen was moved to the Crows' inactive list due to her refusal to receive the vaccination.
Varnhagen works as an anaesthetic nurse and attended a protest against a South Australian government mandate requiring vaccinations for healthcare workers. She will be contracted to the club but won't be allowed to play.
