The AFL are set to move St Kilda and Port Adelaide's Shanghai game, due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

The match between the Saints and Power was set for Round 11 this year with confirmation to come later this week of the rescheduling.

The Shanghai 2020 game was meant to be the fourth instalment of the AFL playing abroad in China.

The global outbreak and concerns of coronavirus have forced the AFL to rethink its stance and not put its players and fans under any health risk.

With a clash at Marvel Stadium likely to take place between the two sides, the AFL will be forced make some tough decisions surrounding the rescheduling of other events.

An Essendon and Gold Coast clash was scheduled for the 31st of May at Marvel Stadium, the same day Port and St Kilda were supposed to play in Shanghai.
