The Adelaide Crows may need to consider adding another name to a pocket at the Adelaide Oval.

But unfortunately for the home fans it isn’t one of their beloved Crows.

Kangaroos star Lindsay Thomas stole the limelight after producing a "miracle" against the Crows on Thursday night.

The small forward had no room to work with when teammate Ben Cunnington found him in a pocket in the third quarter.

But flirting with the boundary line, Thomas kept his cool, composed himself and slotted one of the season's best goals with the outside of his left boot.

"Well he hasn't has he?" one of the commentators said. "To the silence of the Crows' fans he has produced a miracle."

The cracking goal was reminiscent of Crows' star Eddie Betts, whose continual sublime efforts have earned him his own piece of real estate at the Oval – the 'Eddie Betts Pocket'.

However, Thomas' wonder-goal was a rare highlight in the second half as the Crows stormed to a 12.28.100 to 10.7.67 victory.
