AFL great Leigh Montagna calls for captain's challenge after Jeremy Cameron incident
AFL great Leigh Montagna has called on the league to introduce a 'captain's challenge' system, following the controversial ending in the Swans win over the Cats on Saturday night.
Marquee Geelong signing Jeremy Cameron thought he had marked the ball just metres out from his team's goal in the dying seconds of Sydney's 14. 6. (90) to 13. 10. (88) win at the SCG, only for the umpire to call play on due to his belief that the ball did not travel the required distance.

Geelong coach Chris Scott was ropable after the incident in the final moments of the match.
The siren sounded just a few seconds later, allowing the Swans to hang on.
"I know people hate more rules and bringing more rules into the game, but I think it's time to have a captain's challenge in the AFL," Montanga said on Fox Footy.
"We've got to get up with the times, every other sport around the world has the ability on field to challenge the decision."
The league admitted the decision was wrong, with the ball travelling well beyond the 15 metres required.
"Why don't we get to that stage now? We've got the system there with the ARC where there is always an official there sitting there watching a game of football," Montagna said.
"Of course it comes off the back of what we say in the Geelong v Sydney game and the Jeremy Cameron mark. If we take a look at it now, it was clearly a mark."
The win allowed the Swans to leapfrog the Cats into the top four after seven rounds of the season.
