Ablett's season in doubt after shoulder injury

Gold Coast's coaching staff are holding their collective breath after Gary Ablett left the field with a shoulder injury.
He was forced from the field early in the final quarter against the Brisbane Lions after hurting his shoulder in what appeared to be a rather innocuous tackle.
The star went straight off the ground and to the changing rooms clutching his left shoulder.

Creating more of a worry for the Suns is Ablett's history of shoulder injuries - most recently the one that ended his 2014 season.
To add to Gold Coasts's woes the injury came after Michael Rischitelli suffered a potentially serious knee injury during the first quarter of the same game
