Kiwi UFC firebrand issues brutal warning for next opponent
Up-and-coming New Zealand fighter Israel Adesanya had a brutal warning for his next opponent after maintaining his perfect MMA record against Italian Marvin Vettori at UFC Fight Night.
“The last time I came in here I said I was the new dog and I pi--ed all over this cage, next time I’ll sh-t all over your grave,” Adesanya announced in his post-fight interview.
The firebrand 24-year-old has made waves in the UFC after an undefeated run of 13 wins, 12 by knockout, has pundits touting him as a serious middleweight prospect.
The Nigerian-born kickboxer controlled much of his main card fight against Vettori, maintaining his distance to take out the first two rounds in a split decision win.
Calling out the UFC president, Adesanya declared his hunger for a title fight.
“Dana I know you’re around I want to fight again ASAP.”
