Cubs fans presented with 32-year-old can of beer

This Chicago Cubs fan is living proof of the old adage that with age comes wisdom.

Thiry-two years after putting a beer in the fridge and declaring that he won’t drink it until the Cubs win the World Series, it was time to live up to a promise.

Or was it?

Once the can of Coors was opened, those in the room commented on the smell wafting out of the can.

There was no sign of a head on the beer either once it was poured into a mug.

Common sense thankfully prevailed and the liquid was left standing there like … well.. a stale bottle of beer.

At least that allowed this family to continue celebrating the end of the 108-year title drought rather than have to deal with a sick man.
