MMA fighter learns painful lesson in showmanship

An arrogant MMA fighter with a completely ridiculous entrance to the cage got his comeuppance after being knocked out in just nine seconds during a recent fight in India.

Jason Solomon outdid some of professional wrestling’s finest with an elaborate pre-fight show that included a costume change, crowd participation, a chin-up on the cage and the quintessential condescending look at his opponent.

The only thing with that level of arrogance is you’ve got to back it up and on that front, the Delhi fighter failed miserably.

After touching gloves with Mumbai’s Amitesh Chaubey, Solomon was dropped to the canvas with the first punch.

Chaubey followed that right hand up by jumping on Solomon and hitting him several times in the head before the referee could stop the fight.

The utter humiliation lasted just nine seconds, a result that would have pleased fans who believe pride always comes before the fall.
