The sun is finally out, which means one thing... It's jorts season

Before moving to Australia, you wouldn't catch me dead wearing a pair of jorts. Not because I didn't like the style, but because I thought my stocky, square legs would look ridiculous clad in jorts. Throughout summer, I'd only wear Levi's High Rise Shorts. I considered this style much more flattering for my shape.

But how wrong I was! As more of my Aussie friends were sporting shorts with a baggier, longer fit, my curiosity needed to be satisfied. Encouraged by a friend to try out the Cotton On range, I took myself to the mall.

Nervous in uncharted territory, I picked up a pair of the 91 Baggy Denim Jorts and Relaxed Denim Shorts (both now on sale, FYI!) and I've truly never looked back. Mini shorts, who!?

I wore my Relaxed Denim Shorts almost every day last summer, whether I was camping, moving house, or going out for drinks – talk about versatility! So I have no doubt I'll be rinsing and repeating them again this summer. I'll be channelling bigger and baggier this year for maximum comfort.
