I recently came to the realisation that the place in my wardrobe that was once filled with a collection of sneakers has been replaced with ballet flats and kitten heels, which is crazy considering I was once sneaker-obsessed.

Now, I am not saying I don't own a single pair of sneakers anymore, but sneakers used to make up the majority of my shoe collection, yet nowadays, I just don't find myself reaching for them anywhere near as much.

And when I looked at the few pairs I had left, I began to understand why. With trends coming and going at lightning speed, it was hard to keep up with what was stylish and what wasn't, which got pretty exhausting pretty quickly, and I eventually gave up. But as someone who loves to wear comfortable pieces that look as good as they feel, I decided enough was enough.
