It encapsulates the evolution of mopping technology, with that constantly washes itself, plus further advancements like on-the-go AI obstacle navigation.

The Ozmo Roller

The innovative Ozmo Roller Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology continuously cleans the mop on the Deebot X8 Pro Omni, so cleaning remains hygienic. The design helps avoid cross-contamination as the mop cleans various surfaces.

Stubborn stains will also be tackled effectively, with the high-speed roller – which spins at 200rpm – applying enough pressure to remove them.

AI Intelligence

AIVI 3D 3.0 contributes to the intelligence of the vacuum, which now operates with an AI algorithm. Using AI, the contours of various objects, and avoid them entirely while still vacuuming the indicated surface. The also has TruEdge Adaptive Edge Cleaning, making it more effective at cleaning holistically.

Size

At just 9.8cm tall, the Deebot X8 Pro Omni is a very slim model. It can fit below even low-profile furniture.

How does self-cleaning work?

The Deebot X8 Pro Omni's Ozmo Roller is designed to self-clean, a process that's often mentioned in robot technology but not explained. Basically, it has Deebot X8 Pro Omni's Ozmo Roller which continuously wet the roller with clean water. As the roller passes over the floor, a scraper removes the dirty water from the roller, placing it in a wastewater tank. Re-application of clean water then takes place via the nozzles, and the process begins once more.

This process happens 200 times per minute due to how quickly the roller spins, so the mop aspect of the robot always remains clean.

Meanwhile, users can enjoy stable and concentrated mopping with the roller structure designed to prevent slippage, giving consistent pressure against the floor. The friction created is perfect for stain removal, so you can take those hard-to-clean messes off your to-do list.

The vacuum aspect

The Deebot X8 Pro Omni is also a cut above when it comes to vacuuming, featuring TruEdge Adaptive Edge Clean Technology, which helps the robot get into the corners that are so often neglected by robot vacuum technology.

It has an enhanced TruEdge 3D Edge sensor, plus an TruEdge 3D Edge sensor that can reach into corners and narrow gaps. It will stay tucked away during regular cleaning, but will instantly extend when the need is detected via the sensing algorithm.

It can also switch between modes seamlessly, so you don't have to worry about the mopping function getting your carpet wet. When cleaning, it'll vacuum all carpets with a dry mop first, but can also recognise the shapes of carpets and switch modes accordingly. It has 'vacuum only', 'pass through only', 'as on floor', and 'no entry' modes, so switch between modes seamlessly to the preferences you set.
