Dyson's newest robot vac wants nothing more than to keep your floors spotless

Innovative stain detection cleaning

The feature works to reveal any hidden stains by using a precisely angled green light blade to illuminate any stains, dust, or debris that, to the naked eye, looks invisible.

An HD camera powered by AI simultaneously works to inspect and review the surfaces, ensuring they are clean before it moves on to the next spot. The vac has been trained to identify almost 200 household stains and objects, and to adjust the suction as needed based on what is currently being cleaned.

New hygienic wet roller

The self-cleaning roller mop has been built with Dyson's unique 12-point hydration system, which works to wash the roller with heated water on each rotation, keeping it fresh for continuous smear-free cleaning.

There is also a 40mm extender that activates alongside walls and corners, to avoid missing any areas.

Self-emptying cyclonic dock

Possibly the feature I am most excited about, the self-emptying dock, is going to be a game-changer when it comes to your daily clean.

The way it works is simple: dry debris is drawn into the dock using the cyclonic airflow, which separates and ejects waste without needing a bag. It is also able to filter dust particles as small as 0.1 microns and store it for up to 100 days.

And when it comes time to empty, all you have to do is simply press the release button over your bin.

Final verdict

While it is on the more pricier side, the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai Robot Vacuum Cleaner is a total cleaning solution, designed to be used daily, and most importantly, to last.

For a quick cost-per-use breakdown, for one whole year of daily use (365 days), it works out to be around $5 a day, which is about the price of a cup of coffee.

In my opinion, foregoing a daily cafe visit for the sake of a clean home is worth it to get some extra time back in my day!
