Why a standing desk is a modern office necessity

Standing desks are commonplace nowadays, with most offices providing them for staff who spend most of their workday sitting. They're also popular among those who work remotely, with the convenience of being in the home environment often allowing hours and hours to tick by without workers noticing they've barely moved from their desks all day.

However, it's unsurprising that sitting all day isn't good for us.
