Valentine's Day gifts you can still get before Friday

If you love love but have forgotten about Valentine's Day, don't stress – you still have time.

While some of us are super-organised, most people find the occasion creeps up on them each year amid the January rush and the return to work and school. Thankfully, the internet has made this much more forgivable – there are plenty of ways to get a gift to the one you love by this Friday.

Flowers, hampers, and gifts to give in person as well – we've got you covered so you can still have a happy Valentine's Day.

It's understandable if you don't want to risk it with shipping, or if you have a partner who'll prefer a big bunch of flowers to a gift. Thankfully, most flower delivery services do same or next-day delivery, so you still have plenty of time to prepare.

Lvly does same-day delivery for almost all of Australia, with the exceptions being Canberra, Tasmania, and most rural regions, for which next-day delivery is available. They sell flowers, but also Lvly or wine.

Mr Roses does same-day delivery for most major cities and next-day delivery for non-metro areas. However, we reckon ordering with a bit of extra time is a smart choice for what might be their busiest day of the year.

Living up to their name, you can order roses from Mr Roses, but you can elect for a cute bear to arrive with them, or some chocolate as well. They also sell lovely sunflower bundles if that's more suited to your beloved.

Food

If your partner would pick food over flowers, you can grab them a hamper for Valentine's Day. Gourmet Baskets will likely have what you're after, with options like the Prestige Brie Cheese and Wine Hamper, or the Champagne & Chocolates Hamper.

Their premium shipping options give you some flexibility with your ordering. They offer same-day couriers in Sydney and next-day delivery with a cut-off time of 4pm. Other metro areas require 1-2 business days, while regional NSW requires 1-3 business days – so make sure you order now.

Gifts

If you want to gift something to your partner on the day, these options will still come by Friday. We also imagine some couples will push their celebrating out until the weekend, so you might be able to buy yourself an extra day for delivery.
