For the longest time, I never ran out of data. I try my best not to spend time on my phone when I'm out. My morning commute relies on books and podcasts.
So when the time comes to recharge my plan, I always go back to my trusty 365-plan. The benefits are simple: I pay once and forget about it for the year, securing more than enough data that I would ever need.
To help you out, we've rounded up the best long-term prepaid plans we've spotted thismonth.

What is a long-expiry mobile plan?
Typically, a 365-day mobile plan is the one-and-done solution. You purchase them once or twice a year, meaning you get the benefit of data, calls, and texting, all in one go, without having to worry about rollover fees and bills.
Writer's choice
Kogan is offering its 365-day mobile plan for $159, down from the usual $190. That's a 16 per cent discount lasting until November 13. If you want the math, that's $13.25 per month for roughly 16GB of data per month.
If you're like me, who only listens to music, podcasts, and tries not to be on the phone during public commutes, then 16GB is more than enough. You can always add on bonus data, too, if you run out.
Why Kogan? They've been my provider for years, and they offer great value plans with periodic discounts that are always worth it. I've also received free data bonuses across my time with them. I usually opt for their small plan, but their medium plan is only $10 more at the moment.
If you're not convinced, other providers are offering 365-day plans for a decent price.
