He's taken some of the most famous Formula 1 photos in the world, but during his off-time, Kym Illman calls the sandy beaches of a coastal Western Australian town home.
Emma Griffiths is a reporter with 9News Perth.
Born in Perth, she studied Journalism at Curtin University and started her career in radio in 2014, before landing her first television opportunity as a Snow Reporter on the ski fields at Mount Hotham in Victoria.
In 2019, Emma relocated to New Zealand to work in radio as a reporter, before returning to read the National News for Triple M and Mix across the country, as well as assist in producing their podcasts.
From there she found her way back into television, landing a position as a general reporter at 9News Perth in 2022. Since then, Emma has covered a wide range of stories including bushfires, shark attacks, the light aircraft that made an emergency landing at Leighton Beach and even all the fun to be had at the Perth Royal Show.
